heya
ok, first up - apologies for the lack of Mixed Media. it's not dead, don't worry, it's just...sleeping. for the whole of November...
because this month is stuupidly busy. first of all, i signed up for nanowrimo, which is fun, but also quite difficult (having never written more than 13 000 words in one story in ym life...). currently i'm..just under 4000 words behind target, because i haven't been near my computer or my notebook since thursday evening. oops.
then there's the uni stuff. i have a CS open day from Bath (offers from Bath & Warwick & Notts! yay!) next week, and an interview for Manchester two weeks tuesday (aagh). plus my driving test (take two, i *will* pass this time) a week thursday (ooerr). plus coursework (bleh) and regular homework, and revision of my multiple maths modules that i probably oughta be doing. in the non-academic area, there also seem to be a huge number of birthdays this month - that's where i was on friday, party on a boat

yaay.
and in all of this i wana find time to see james (

) and possibly (dare i think it?) actually get soem manga drawn too...
aah well. i haven't imploded with stress yet

and the oxford admissions test is safely out of the way (*fingers crossed* for an interview). bring on christmas, is all i can say

(in compelte contradition of my no-xmas-til-december rule)

Sophi says:
We got another lot of trick or treaters. I was upstairs in the toilet and ran downstairs desperately trying to do my jeans up.
The belt came undone again down the stairs.
I opened the door to guys my own age.
I thought, 'fuck'.
